MSI has launched its latest gaming laptop, the Titan 18 Pro 2024, in the Chinese market. The laptop is already registered on JD.com and is available for pre-sale.
The laptop is equipped with an i9-14900HX processor and offers two video card options: NVIDIA RTX4080 and RTX4090. The RTX4080 variant costs 24999 yuan ($3472), and the RTX4090 costs 28999 yuan ($4028). Let’s check out the specifications of this laptop.

The laptop features an 18-inch 4K Mini LED display with a resolution of 3840×2400, offering 100% wide DCI-P3 color gamut, thousands of backlight zones, 1000 nits peak brightness, custom color calibration, and a 120Hz refresh rate. It also supports dual MUX display and tri-mode switching technology.
A robust cooling system with two fans and six heatpipes ensures that the laptop stays cool under heavy workloads. It supports PCIe 5.0 for ultra-fast data transfer, comes with a pre-installed 2TB PCIe 4.0 SSD and can be configured with up to 64GB of RAM. Expansion options include support for SD memory cards and four memory card slots, allowing for a maximum storage capacity of up to 192 GB.
The Titan 18 Pro runs in ULTRA super turbo mode, which allows total power consumption of up to 250W, with the GPU reaching up to 175W with Dynamic Boost 2.0 and the CPU up to 75W, ensuring that the hardware can run at peak performance without throttling.
The laptop has a 6-speaker Dynaudio surround sound system with Nahimic and Hi-Res Audio support. It also has an HD camera with infrared face recognition and a Kensington anti-theft lock. It also comes with Wi-Fi 7, which provides peak speeds of up to 5.8 Gbps.
The Titan 18 Pro is equipped with a variety of I/O ports, including USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, Thunderbolt 4, an audio jack, RJ45 port, two HDMI ports, an SD card reader, and a Kensington lock hole. As for the battery life, it is equipped with a 99.9 Wh battery with support for PD 3.1 fast charging.
