Rumors about the upcoming Oppo Find X7 series have been circulating for several months now. But now we might be seeing its design for the first time. A leaked poster circulating on Weibo seems to show the back of the phone.
The poster shows the phone with a prominent round camera island on the back with four lenses, suggesting that it could be the Find X7 Pro or, as rumored, the Find X7 Ultra.
Earlier today, the prolific Digital Chat Station whistleblower also leaked the alleged specifications of the Find X7 series cameras.
The Pro and Ultra models are said to feature a 50-megapixel 1-inch Sony LYT900 main sensor, as well as a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and two periscope telephoto lenses – one with a 3x optical zoom and the other with an impressive 6x zoom, both using 50-megapixel sensors.
We can also see the Hasselblad logo near the lenses, indicating the camera manufacturer’s involvement in image processing. Earlier in November, Oppo introduced the next-generation Hasselblad HyperTone camera system.
The HyperTone system promises advanced AI noise reduction, RAW image processing, and even individual pixel brightness correction. This new algorithm will be used in the Oppo Find X7 series of smartphones.
In addition, the phone also has a unique two-tone back panel that consists of a metal top and a leather bottom. The design reminds us of the recent Huawei Mate 60 series. Unfortunately, the poster does not show the front view of the device.
In terms of specs, the Find X7 Pro and X7 Ultra will use the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, while the base Find X7 is expected to get the MediaTek Dimensity 9300 SoC. Interestingly, the top-of-the-line Find X7 Ultra may even offer satellite connectivity.
It is expected that Oppo will officially launch the Find X7 series sometime early next year, with the exact date likely to be announced soon. While the Chinese market is likely to be the first to receive the phones, we will keep you posted on any further developments and official details as soon as they become available.
