The company proudly announced the achievement, stating that the car is a “true champion with no qualifiers, selling one unit per minute.” Reaching this million-unit mark took approximately two years since its market debut in October 2024.

The sales trajectory for the Geely Xingyuan has been characterized by a clear and accelerating pace. Official figures indicate the following production milestones:
- May 2025: 200,000 units reached
- March 2026: Increased to 600,000 units
- August 2026: Reached 800,000 units
- October 2026: Surpassed 1 million units
Calculations based on these milestones reveal that the period from 600,000 to 1 million units took only about seven months. Notably, the last 200,000 unit increase was achieved in just two months, indicating a significant acceleration in sales velocity compared to earlier phases.
Market Performance and Upgrades
First introduced in October 2024, the Geely Xingyuan, positioned as an A0-class pure electric compact car, quickly set a record for the fastest delivery volume exceeding 10,000 units within 16 days of launch in its segment. This rapid market acceptance underscored its appeal among consumers.
The 2026 model of the Geely Xingyuan was launched in October 2025. By March 2026, the model had accumulated over 600,000 deliveries, securing the top sales position across all vehicle categories for that year.
In May of the current year, the updated Geely Xingyuan was officially launched. This latest iteration boasts significant upgrades, including an independent suspension system and the Flyme Auto 2.0 AI intelligent cockpit. Enhancements have also been made across driving dynamics, the three-electric system, assisted driving capabilities, cabin experience, and safety features. The new model is available with a limited-time introductory price starting at 61,800 RMB.
