Corsair, a name synonymous with high-performance PC components and gaming peripherals, has officially announced its latest audio innovation: the VOXARA USB microphone. This premium offering marks a significant expansion for Corsair’s main brand into the creator audio space, traditionally dominated by its Elgato sub-brand.
VOXARA: A New Contender in USB Microphones
The announcement comes just ahead of the TGS 2026 Tokyo Game Show, scheduled to open on September 17th. The VOXARA microphone is poised to make a splash with its blend of advanced features and integration with Elgato’s renowned software ecosystem. While Elgato has been a go-to for streamers and content creators seeking quality audio solutions, the VOXARA represents Corsair’s direct foray into this competitive market under its flagship brand.
Key Features and Elgato Integration
One of the standout aspects of the VOXARA is its seamless compatibility with Elgato’s Wave Link control software. This integration allows users to leverage powerful audio mixing and customization tools, streamlining the audio production workflow for gamers and creators alike. Furthermore, the microphone incorporates Elgato’s Voice Focus technology, an AI-driven feature designed to optimize voice capture, ensuring clarity and reducing background noise.
Visually, the VOXARA boasts customizable ARGB lighting, adding a flair of personalized aesthetics to any gaming setup. Early reports, stemming from a preview at gamescom 2026 in Cologne, suggest that the microphone is equipped with a 25mm cardioid polar pattern capsule, ideal for capturing focused sound directly in front of the mic, minimizing ambient noise.
Technical Specifications and Pricing
Technically, the VOXARA is set to impress with a high sampling rate of 32-bit / 192kHz, promising exceptional audio fidelity. It also features an integrated OLED screen paired with a multifunctional knob, offering intuitive control over settings and parameters. For enhanced usability, the microphone includes a built-in pop filter and a shock mount to minimize handling noise and plosives, along with a convenient tap-to-mute function.
The anticipated price point for the Corsair VOXARA is set at $200 USD, which translates to approximately 1,345 Chinese Yuan based on current exchange rates. This positions the VOXARA as a competitive option in the premium USB microphone segment, offering a compelling package of features, performance, and brand integration.
With its blend of advanced technology, user-friendly features, and integration with the popular Elgato software suite, the Corsair VOXARA is shaping up to be a significant new entry in the audio hardware market for gamers and content creators.
