XPeng announced today that its MONA L03 model achieved over 14,000 deliveries in September. The company highlighted that more than half of these new vehicle owners are young users, and 70% are located in tier 1, new tier 1, or tier 2 cities. Furthermore, over 90% of orders were for the Max or Ultra SE configurations, with the assisted driving mileage accumulating to over 700 million kilometers.
XPeng’s Strong September Performance
This impressive delivery figure for the MONA L03 contributes to XPeng Group’s overall strong performance in September, with a total of 41,256 vehicles delivered, marking a 5% increase compared to the previous month. The third quarter also saw significant growth, with cumulative deliveries reaching 118,390 units, a 15% rise quarter-on-quarter.
MONA L03: Design and Technology
The MONA L03, which is available in both pure electric and extended-range versions, starts at 123,800 yuan. The extended-range variant began deliveries in late August. The vehicle’s exterior design was led by Juanma, a former exterior designer for Ferrari, and is offered in six distinct colors: Aurora Purple, New Moon Silver, Midnight Black, Star Dusk Purple, Dark Plum Jam, and Eucalyptus Grey. The paintwork utilizes BASF’s high-gloss clear coat and a 3C2B coating process for a premium finish.
Under the hood, the MONA L03 is powered by XPeng’s self-developed Turing AI chip. The Max version features a single chip with 750 TOPS of computing power and the second-generation VLA distilled version. The Ultra SE version boasts dual chips, providing 1500 TOPS of computing power and supporting the full-fledged second-generation VLA. In terms of range, the pure electric version offers CLTC ranges of 525km and 625km, while the super extended-range version delivers a CLTC comprehensive range of up to 1330km, with a pure electric range of 315km.
