Xiaomi has launched its latest kitchen innovation, the Mijia Smart Dishwasher (5-place setting model), now available on JD.com. This new appliance integrates five core functions: washing, drying, and more, boasting an A-class energy efficiency rating for water usage. Priced at 1998 yuan, it’s even available for as low as 1699 yuan in some regions after government subsidies.
Sleek Design Meets Smart Functionality
The Mijia Smart Dishwasher features a clean, white aesthetic with a curved edge design and a front-facing LED display. Measuring 550 x 598 x 350 mm, with a required opening depth of 600 mm, it’s designed to comfortably fit into most kitchen spaces. Its capacity is suitable for households of 2 to 5 people, handling the daily dishwashing needs with ease.
Advanced Cleaning and Drying Technology
Inside, the dishwasher is equipped with a detachable and washable filter and interior lighting, allowing for simultaneous washing of both pots and bowls. The cleaning system utilizes four sets of spray arms and 34 water jets, delivering water pressure up to 30 kPa. An integrated optical detection system, combined with AI algorithms, can determine the level of soiling in just 10 seconds and automatically select the most appropriate washing program. It also features a smart water softening function to ensure optimal cleaning performance regardless of local water hardness.
Hygiene and Convenience at its Best
Offering 8 distinct washing programs, the dishwasher provides a robust 80°C hot air drying function. It has earned a five-star disinfection certification, achieving a remarkable 99.9999% sterilization rate. Furthermore, the device supports 240 hours of UV ultraviolet long-term storage, which helps to prevent mold and moisture, effectively allowing it to double as a daily dish cabinet. Users can also remotely monitor and control the washing progress through the Mijia App, adding a layer of convenience to household chores.
This new offering from Xiaomi underscores their commitment to smart home technology, aiming to simplify daily routines with efficient and intelligent appliances.
