Obviously, the high-end Vivo X100s smartphone is under development. But even before the official announcement, a fresh leak hinted at some key features of the upcoming flagship. So, here is everything you need to know.
Vivo X100s specifications leak
The news came from a well-known Digital Chat Station informant who shared the new details on Weibo (a Chinese microblogging site). For those who don’t know, the X100 line is the brand’s premium phones, so the X100s will be the latest model in this series. The source claims that the upcoming smartphone will be equipped with the most powerful MediaTek Dimensity chipset.
It will reportedly be powered by the Dimenity 9300+ SoC. Digital Chat Station also added that the X100 could also be equipped with a flat OLED display with Full HD+ resolution. The Dimensity 9300+ is likely an overclocked version of the regular Dimensity 9300, which is a high-end chip used in current-generation flagship devices. The upcoming phone will reportedly even offer 100-watt wired fast charging and be powered by a large 5,000 mAh battery.
This is slightly slower than the 120W fast charging used in the base X100 model. Digital Chat Station claims that the X100s has a short-focus optical fingerprint scanner on the display, as well as a metal frame and glass back. It is not known whether a leather variant is planned for this model. Although, according to rumors, the device will be available in four color variants, including a white version. It is expected that Vivo X100s will debut along with the Vivo X Fold 4 and Vivo Pad 3 series next month in China, so stay tuned.
