Vivo X100s and X100s Pro with Dimensity 9300+ chipset launched

Today, Vivo has launched the Vivo X100 Ultra smartphone in China. Along with the Ultra model, the brand also introduced the Vivo X100s and X100s Pro smartphones. These new phones feature a new and improved Dimesnity 9300+ processor, instead of the Dimensity 9300 used in the X100 and X100 Pro models. This newly released chip has a higher clock speed of 3.4GHz as well as an improved APU that provides a 10% speedup in the execution of AI tasks on the device.

Specifications and features of Vivo X100s and X100s Pro:

The Vivo X100s and X100s Pro feature a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display (flat display on the X100s and curved display on the X100s Pro) that delivers a crisp 2800 x 1260 resolution at 120Hz refresh rate. The displays have a screen-to-body ratio of 93.43%, a peak brightness of 3000 nits, as well as 1.07 billion colors and 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

As mentioned above, both smartphones are equipped with a Dimensity 9300+ processor, up to 16 GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage. Vivo has installed a new V3 image processing chip in the X100s Pro, while the X100s retains the V2 chip.

In terms of optics, the X100s Pro features a triple camera setup with a 50MP f/1.75 primary camera (inch sensor) paired with a 50MP f/2.5 Zeiss APO super telephoto camera (4.3x optical zoom) and a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle camera. The X100s, on the other hand, features a 50MP f/1.57 primary camera that works in tandem with a 64MP f/2.57 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and a 50MP f/2.0 ultra-wide-angle lens. Both camera systems feature 100x digital zoom. The Pro model offers video recording with a resolution of up to 8K, while the non-Pro model is limited to 4K. As for selfies, both models feature a 32-megapixel front-facing camera with an f/2.0 lens.

The X100s comes with a 5100 mAh battery, while the Pro model has a larger 5400 mAh battery. The Pro model comes with 100W and 50W wired and wireless charging capabilities, while the vanilla variant only comes with 100W wired charging support.
