Vivo X Fold 3 Pro specs leaked; Expected to launch with Vivo Pad 3

Vivo is reportedly working on a series of Vivo X Fold 3 foldable phones for the Chinese market. The lineup is expected to include the Vivo X Fold 3 and X Fold 3 Pro models with model numbers V2303A and V2337A, respectively. A new leak, courtesy of reliable source Digital Chat Station, has revealed details about what appears to be the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro.

Main features of Vivo X Fold 3 Pro (rumored)

In the latest leak, the source claimed that the internal LTPO screen of the upcoming foldable phone will support 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It seems that the company has reduced the thickness and weight of the device compared to the X Fold 2. The device should weigh significantly less than 250 grams, as the previous model weighed about 279 grams.

The external and internal displays will be equipped with an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint scanner. Only Vivo is known for offering ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensors on its foldable phones, suggesting that the leak could be talking about the X Fold 3 series. While the leak didn’t mention the device’s battery size, it did reveal that the device will offer 100W wired charging and 50W wireless charging.

The camera of the device will consist of three cameras: a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support, a periscopic telephoto camera, and, probably, an ultra-wide-angle camera. There is a possibility that the main lens could be a Sony LYT-900 camera sensor.

In a previous leak, the leaker hinted that the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor. So, it seems that in this leak, the leaker could be talking about the Pro version. The source also said that the foldable phone will debut alongside the Vivo Pad 3 powered by the Dimensity 9300 processor. These devices could reportedly debut in the first quarter of 2024.

It is unclear what distinguishes Vivo X Fold 3 from its Pro version. Therefore, it is recommended to wait for additional announcements to get a clearer understanding of the features that distinguish these two versions.
