Vivo V40 SE 5G and Vivo V30 SE appear at Bluetooth SIG, launching soon

Vivo is simultaneously working on several upcoming smartphones, including the Vivo V30 series and the Vivo V40 Lite, also known as the Vivo V40 SE 5G. These smartphones have been in the news as part of leaks, rumors, or public certification lists. It doesn’t seem to be ending, as the Vivo V40 SE 5G with model code V2337 and the Vivo VS30 SE with model code V2349 have appeared on the Bluetooth SIG website. Both smartphones appear to be equipped with Bluetooth 5.0 as listed.

Other details about both smartphones are not available in the list. Nevertheless, the launch of both smartphones seems inevitable as the official teaser image of the Vivo V30 series was leaked a few days ago. The entire series, consisting of the Vivo V30, Vivo V30 Pro and Vivo V30 Lite (launched in Malaysia), has also appeared on NCC, Bluetooth SIG and Geekbench certification. The Vivo V40 Lite has entered the IMEI database with the same model code V2337 as the Vivo V40 SE 5G, which has Bluetooth SIG.

A separate leak has revealed a poster of the Vivo V30 series, which gives a glimpse into the design elements of the upcoming devices. The poster shows a square camera module on the back and a centered notch for the front selfie camera. The curved display panel, slim bezels, and prominent top notch and chin are all visible in the leaked poster.

After all, the Vivo V30 Lite 5G was already launched in Malaysia a while ago, and now the attention is focused on the Vivo V30 and Vivo V30 Pro. To get an idea of what the Vivo V40 Lite 5G has to offer, we can turn to the recently launched V30 Lite 5G. This model offers a 6.67-inch curved-edge AMOLED E4 display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive 1150 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the V30 Lite 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

It runs on Android 13 with FunTouch OS 13 and relies on a robust 4,800mAh battery with 44W fast charging support for extended use. The V30 Lite 5G camera has a 64-megapixel primary sensor that leads the rear camera trio, as well as an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2-megapixel lens for macro photography. The 50MP front-facing camera is housed in a perforated notch for great selfies.

Adding to the excitement, the Vivo V30 has appeared on several certifications, the latest of which from NBTC in Thailand indicates a potential launch by the end of this month or in February. The device, which is expected to feature a 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED display with a resolution of 1.5K dots and a 120Hz refresh rate, could be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. Other observations, including Bluetooth SIG and Geekbench, are contributing to the growing speculation around the V30 series, suggesting that it will be a noteworthy addition to Vivo’s smartphone lineup.
