Vivo recently launched the V30 Lite 5G smartphone in Malaysia, and rumors suggest that at least two more devices will be added to the lineup: V30 and V30 Pro. Although the company has not officially confirmed these plans, there is speculation that these may be rebranded versions of the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro for the global market.
Meanwhile, a new device called Vivo V40 Lite 5G has appeared in the IMEI database. Discovered by GSMChina, the listing shows that the smartphone has the model number V2337. The report also says that the phone could be introduced in the second quarter of 2024.

Details about the Vivo V40 Lite are still scarce, but let’s take a closer look at the recently introduced V30 Lite 5G.
The V30 Lite 5G features a 6.67-inch curved-edge AMOLED E4 display with Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 1150 nits of peak brightness.
Under the hood, the V30 Lite 5G is powered by a Snapdragon 695 processor paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. It runs on Android 13 with FunTouch OS 13 and is powered by a 4800 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
As for the camera, the phone is equipped with three lenses on the back, led by the main 64-megapixel sensor. It is joined by an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. As with its predecessor, the rear camera is accompanied by a temperature-controlled LED flashlight. The 50-megapixel camera is located on the front panel with a perforation for selfies.
The phone also boasts IP54 splash protection and a sleek body that measures 162.35 x 74.85 x 7.69 mm and weighs 190 grams.
