Key features of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro have been revealed

On January 4, OnePlus is planning to launch OnePlus Ace 3 in the Chinese market. The Ace 3 series is expected to include two additional models, namely Ace 3V and Ace 3 Pro. While recent reports have provided insight into the specs of the 3V version, a fresh leak from a Digital Chat Station informant has revealed the key specifications of the Pro version for the first time. Here’s a quick look at what to expect from the device.

In retrospect, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, was unveiled in August 2023. A new leak suggests that OnePlus is accelerating the launch of the Ace 3 Pro. Instead of a release in the second half of 2024, we are now talking about a potential launch in the first half. More precisely, it looks like the Ace 3 Pro could be officially unveiled in the first quarter, maintaining a six-month gap over its predecessor.

Main features of the OnePlus Ace 3 Pro

The OnePlus Ace 3 Pro is expected to feature an OLED panel with curved edges provided by BOE. The device is expected to retain the same 6.78-inch display as the Ace 3, with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

The Ace 3 Pro will feature a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset and 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM under the hood. Although the leak does not mention it, it is likely that the device could offer up to 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

The source added that the device will have a metal middle frame and a glass back. The leak doesn’t provide any information on camera specs, battery size, or charging capabilities. However, it is likely to run on Android 14 based on ColorOS 14.

OnePlus Ace 2 Pro did not have a global version. So, it is unclear whether there will be a global edition of Ace 3 Pro.
