Vivo V30 launched with Snapdragon 7 Gen 3

Vivo has quietly introduced the Vivo V30 for the global market. The company did not confirm the price of the device, but assured that it will be released in 30 markets in the near future. These markets include countries such as India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and the UAE. As expected, the Vivo V30 is a modified version of the Vivo S18, which debuted in December on the Chinese market.

Specifications and features of Vivo V30


Vivo V30 has a 6.78-inch AMOLED panel with curved edges and a centrally located punch. The screen provides a 1.5K resolution (1280 x 2800 pixels) and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The company has confirmed that the V30 runs on Android 14 overlaid with FunTouch OS 14 and that it will provide 50 months of uninterrupted use, hinting at approximately 4 years of software updates.


This is the first smartphone to launch outside of China with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip on board. Depending on the market, the smartphone will be available in several configurations, such as 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, 8GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM + 512GB storage. The device is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support.

At the front, Vivo V30 is equipped with a 50-megapixel OmniVision OV50E selfie camera with autofocus. On the back, there’s a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens and an Aura LED flash with intelligent color temperature control.

Vivo V30 has an IP54-rated body, is 7.45 mm thick, and weighs about 186 grams. It is available in Noble Black, Bloom White, Waving Aqua, and Lush Green colors.
