After the smartphone passed NCC certification with detailed information about its technical characteristics and design, it was submitted to the Bluetooth SIG. The smartphone with the model code V2318 appeared on the certification with Bluetooth 5.4. According to rumors, this may be an updated version of the Vivo S18 series, which was launched in China a few days ago.
The listing does not disclose any other information, but confirms the upcoming launch. The Vivo V30 may enter the global market instead of the mid-range Vivo S18 smartphones currently sold in the manufacturer’s home country. It is expected that the Vivo V30 series will be represented by three different models, including the standard Vivo V30, Vivo V30 Lite, and Vivo V30 Pro.
Expected characteristics of Vivo V30
The Vivo V30 was spotted at NCC in black with a large rectangular dual camera setup with LED flash. The curved edges of the phone seem to provide a better grip and a more comfortable hold on the smartphone. In addition, the listing indicates the presence of a punch, a USB Type-C port, a speaker grille, a SIM card slot and a main microphone.
In addition, the phone will be equipped with a 4895 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. The NCC listing also indicates the presence of up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage on the phone. Its Geekbench listing somehow confirms the presence of the recently announced Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 SoC.
The Vivo V30 Lite version is also in the works as it has already been spotted on Bluetooth SIG and Google Play Console with some fine details about the specifications. The smartphone seems to have up to 12GB of RAM and will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC. It will be equipped with a dual camera setup with Aura Ring LED. The display has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 and a density of 440 PPI. Some reports mention a 4700 mAh battery with 44W fast charging support.
The Vivo V30 is expected to hit the market early next year. However, we expect more leaks and specifications to reveal details about the device before the actual launch.
