Vivo is preparing to announce the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro smartphones on December 27 in China. Ahead of the launch, the company has released official posters confirming the chipsets that will power the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro. In addition, the leak revealed the name of the chipset that will be used in the S18e. Here are all the new details about the S18 series.
As you can see from the above posters, Vivo S18 will have a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. This is the same chip that powers its competitor, the Honor 100.
On the other hand, Vivo S18 Pro will be equipped with the Dimensity 9200 Plus chipset. The same chip was previously used in the Xiaomi 13T Pro, Redmi K60 Ultra, Vivo X90s, and iQOO Neo 8 Pro. According to reports, the S18 and S18 Pro will be available in variants such as 12GB RAM + 256GB storage, 12GB RAM + 512GB storage, and 16GB RAM + 512GB storage.
According to a Chinese leak, the Vivo S18e will feature a Dimensity 7200 display, which has also been spotted on other phones such as the Vivo S17e, Vivo V27, Vivo T2 Pro 5G, iQOO Z7 Pro, and Redmi Note 13 Pro+.
In addition, he said that the Vivo S18e has a flat display, but did not specify its size. According to reports, the Vivo S18 and S18 Pro will have a 6.78-inch OLED panel with curved edges that offers 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 2,800 nits peak brightness. The S18e will have a 4800 mAh battery and a 50MP + 2MP dual camera setup.
