Vivo S18 Pro will receive 6.78

Vivo is preparing to launch its latest smartphone series, the Vivo S18, in China on December 14. The lineup will include three models: Vivo S18e, S18, and S18 Pro. Although the official launch is still a few weeks away, a new leak from Digital Chat Station has shed light on the specifications of the top-of-the-line model, the Vivo S18 Pro.

Technical specifications of Vivo S18 Pro

According to the source, the Vivo S18 Pro will feature a 6.78-inch curved OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. It will also have a 50-megapixel selfie camera hidden in the center notch with perforations.

On the back, you’ll find a triple camera setup led by a 50-megapixel Sony IMX920 sensor – the same one used in the Vivo X100. The main lens is joined by a 50-megapixel ISOCELL JN1 sensor for ultra-wide-angle shots and a 12-megapixel Sony IMX663 sensor for telephoto with 2x optical zoom. And to add a touch of style, there’s an Aura backlight underneath the camera unit.

Vivo has confirmed that the S18 Pro will be powered by the Dimensity 9200+ chipset. It is also reported that the phone is equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. As for the software, the smartphone is expected to run Android 14 with Origin OS 4 on top.

As previously reported, Vivo S18 Pro will be available in three color variants: Black, Green, and Blue. In addition, the Vivo S18 series will be equipped with a new Blue Heart AI model with six billion parameters, which can improve the quality of portrait photography and much more.

The Vivo S18 series will launch in China on December 14. Information about availability for regions outside of China is still under wraps, but it is likely that the Vivo S18 series will be rebranded as the Vivo V30 series worldwide.
