The Red Magic 9 series of gaming smartphones recently went on sale in China. Now, the company is also launching the GM001S MiniLED Gaming Monitor, which features some notable hardware. So here are all the details.

The new monitor from the Chinese brand is equipped with a 27-inch Fast IPS panel with MiniLED technology with 5088 backlight sections. This panel features a peak brightness of 2200 nits, 4K resolution, 160Hz refresh rate, 10-bit color reproduction, HDR 1400 certification, and dynamic contrast ratio of up to 10000:1. Since it is a gaming monitor, the GM001S also has a 1ms response time and supports AMD Free Sync and G-Sync technologies.
The screen can also be used by creative professionals as it supports 99% sRGB, 99% DCI-P3, 99% of the Adobe RGB color gamut and even has a professional calibration with ΔE<1. The display is surrounded by ultra-thin bezels on the top and sides, and has a prominent chin on the bottom. It also has an RGB ring backlight. Connectivity options include HDMI 2.1, Display Port, and a 90W USB Type C port that also supports reverse charging and video transfer.

The Red Magic GM001S MiniLED gaming monitor was announced in November and has finally gone on sale in the brand’s home market, China. The gaming monitor is currently on sale at an initial price of 5499 yuan (approximately USD 776).
