Deep-Tech accelerator Vacuum invites you to take part in the Deep-Tech Innovations hackathon. The organizers plan to select 30 startups to join the Science Intensive Innovation and Development and Renovation acceleration programs.
About the programs
The intensive acceleration program Science Intensive Innovation, with an emphasis on individual work, provides access to laboratories and R&D centers, as well as administrative services. The program has more than 200 experts and mentors from various technological and scientific fields, from which the most relevant and necessary ones will be selected for the project. Program participants also receive free support in attracting investments or grants for their activities.
Development and Renovation is a 5-week accelerator program consisting of an intensive mix of workshops, 1-on-1 meetings, and applied work that takes approximately 20-25 hours per week. The program is designed for projects that will contribute to the reconstruction and development of the country and cities during the war and in the post-war period, in particular in the fields of education, healthcare, energy, logistics, and infrastructure.
Hackathon goals
The winners of the selection will be able to:
- Actively cooperate with potential customers. This will allow them to more easily identify and adapt their products to the real needs of the market.
- Learn effective strategies that help attract investment to grow their business.
- Determine and optimize your Product-Market Fit and, as a result, optimize your product for market requirements.
- Get access to resources for successful work, such as webinars, bootcamps, lectures, individual work with experts, master classes, etc.
- Check and optimize your business model with the help of the program’s experts together with business representatives.
How to participate
Both individual participants – students, scientists, financiers, marketing designers, or developers – and formed teams can take part in the selection.

The Science Intensive Innovation and Development and Renovation acceleration programs are implemented by Vacuum Deep Tech Acceleration with the support of the USAID Competitive Economy of Ukraine Program, the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine, together with the Ukrainian Startup Fund, YEP Accelerator, and Kyiv Academic University.
