Ukrtelecom, the largest telecommunications company in Ukraine, which provides UMTS mobile communications services under the brand name Utel, has introduced from 10 February 2010 the “Easy Transition” service for contractual subscribers.
Ukrainian News learned this from a statement by the operator, the wording of which was made available to the agency.
The service envisages an opportunity for the contractual subscribers of UTEL after connection to the contract plan or after changing the phone number to inform associates with SMS-messages.
Within the service, the contractual subscribers can send information about the change of the number to 100 clients of Ukrainian operators of mobile communications. The service can be ordered on the day of receiving a new phone number. The cost of the service is 1 kopeck.
