FreshTel To Connect 1,000 Schools To Internet For Free In 2010 And 2011

    Ukrainian Highest Technologies, a company rendering services under the FreshTel brand name, plans to connect 1,000 of Ukrainian schools to the internet for free in 2010 and 2011, president of a direct investment fund Icon Private Equity, Kirill Dmitriyev, has informed Ukrainian News.
    “We have plans to connect 1,000 of Ukrainian schools to high-speed wireless internet FreshTel in a year and a half,” he said.

    As to Dmitriyev, FreshTel will begin realising the project tasks from Kyiv, where the providers has already built its network; then they will connect to the internet schools in Odesa, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk, Lviv and other cities.
    Dmitriyev added, they were discussing details of this project with the ministry of science and education and other interested authorities.

    Direct investment fund Icon Private Equity (Russia) is investor of the Ukrainian Highest Technologies.

    Ukrainian Highest Technologies on January 16 commissioned a 4G mobile internet network WiMAX under the FreshTel brand name in the city and region of Kyiv.
