Ukrainian developers have created better analogs than Mavic

Since June 2024, members of the Brave1 platform have been working on an analog of the Chinese Mavic drone. Already 3 such Ukrainian UAVs meet NATO standards and are operating at the front: Lens and Zoom from Frontline and Shmavik from Jet Drones.

This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov.

These drones are adapted to the realities of war, they have integrated communication systems that are resistant to enemy electronic warfare, and they have automatic landing and “return home” mode.

According to Fedorov, many of the components are also made by Ukrainian manufacturers. And the defenders are already actively using these drones at the front and giving great feedback.

The Mavic is one of the most popular drones at the front, simple, effective and cheap. It is a consumable for the military, and a unit can lose 5 of these “birds” a day.

“At the same time, it is difficult and expensive to import Mavic, so creating a Ukrainian analog is a top priority,” the official adds.
