The IT Ukraine Association and Diia.City Union held a joint meeting of the Ukrainian IT ecosystem with the new head of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Oxana Ferchuk, and Deputy Minister Nataliia Denikeieva.
The event, held at the UNIT.City venue, brought together over 200 technology companies, Diia.City residents, startup representatives, regional clusters, and relevant associations. The main goal of the meeting was a direct dialogue on preserving institutional stability, approaches to specialist reservation, and the vector of technological industry development for 2026‑2027.
Priorities and Key Topics
During the discussion, IT Ukraine’s Executive Director Maria Shevchuk raised the issue of implementing the Global Innovation Strategy, developing digital infrastructure, and supporting exports. On her part, Diia.City Union’s Executive Director Valeria Kushnerchuk emphasized the critical importance of preserving Diia.City conditions and transparent reservation mechanisms.
Resilience of digital infrastructure. Ensuring stable connectivity, security of cloud systems, and cybersecurity amid external challenges.
Development of the Diia.City space. Preserving and improving regimes as the best jurisdiction for scaling and attracting investments.
State as a convenient service. Further development of the Diia app and portal ecosystem.
Leadership in the field of artificial intelligence. Integrating AI tools into state governance and supporting domestic AI projects.
Digitalization of Defense Forces and veteran services. Strengthening the DefenseTech direction and expanding digital services for defenders.
The outlined areas are based on three global state vectors — defense support, economic growth, and accelerated Eurointegration.
