Ukraine needs more cool technological products, so the team of the Ministry of Digital Transformation is working on a regulatory sandbox. This is a format of interaction between the state and innovative companies whose activities have not yet been regulated by law.
This was written by the Minister of Digital Transformation, Deputy Prime Minister Mykhailo Fedorov:
“The purpose of creating a regulatory sandbox is to support innovations, increase the country’s investment attractiveness and shape the regulatory framework for technological developments.”
According to him, projects using artificial intelligence to rebuild the country, medical AI assistants for diagnosing diseases, intelligent urban traffic management systems, web3 projects, etc. are needed.
Advantages of the sandbox
Among the main advantages of the regulatory sandbox:
- the ability to effectively test products and improve the business model;
- direct dialog with the state on regulatory requirements;
- entering the market, scaling up and attracting investments.
