The web version of the Incredible Tech catalogue, an investment guide to Ukrainian IT, was presented in Ukraine. The IT Ukraine Association expands opportunities for global promotion of Ukrainian product IT.
The IT Ukraine Association jointly with the Ministry of Digital Transformation, Top Lead Agency and UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group continue to promote Ukrainian IT products and product IT companies in the world and, with the support of Weblium, they developed a web version of the catalogue.
A company or a product will be added to the catalogue after confirmation by experts of its compliance with the criteria. You can apply through the online form at https://incredibletech.org. Participation in the online version of the catalogue enables as many IT companies as possible to declare themselves on the international market, interest investors and attract new customers.
Technological development despite the war
“Currently, the world’s attention is focused on Ukraine due to the war. However, even in extraordinarily challenging circumstances, the country continues to develop technologically. We have many high-tech, unique products of which we can be proud. They can be beneficial for millions of people, numerous companies, and entire industries. Therefore, we have decided to create a catalog that describes such products and companies, so that a broad international audience can learn about them and benefit from these developments,” — Oleksandr Bornyakov, Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine.
The online version of the catalogue makes it possible to expand the list of project participants and quickly add new Ukrainian product IT companies or IT products made in Ukraine that meet the requirements. The web version of the catalogue includes 95 promising product IT companies and 22 most competitive IT products for the global world, but the Ukrainian IT industry includes about 2,300 companies, of which 72% have IT products.
“The Incredible Tech catalogue is proof that the technological landscape of Ukraine has a significant impact on the global IT market. Ukrainian IT companies are already part of the global technological world and offer sought-after and unique products and solutions that, even despite the war, attract investments and develop successfully. Our task is to support these Ukrainian companies, as well as to help potential investors make the right choice,” — Maria Shevchuk, Executive Director of the IT Ukraine Association.
Ukraine as an IT hub
Companies included in the catalogue are attractive for investment and are already conquering the world market in the fields of DefenceTech, AgroTech, CyberTech, EdTech, FinTech, HealthTech, GovTech and others, or are leaders in providing high-quality IT services.
“Ukraine is already known in the world as an IT hub, where talented, dedicated and highly professional engineers work and where unique projects supported by UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group are created. Investing in new technologies is one of the strategic areas of our work,” — Laurent Dupuch, Chairman of the Board of UKRSIBBANK BNP Paribas Group.
Only Ukrainian companies and IT products with Ukrainian registration, a Ukrainian founder and an office or representation in Ukraine can join the catalogue.
“The Incredible Tech catalogue is a wishlist for Western customers and investors interested in quality IT products, services and promising startups. Ukrainian companies continue their integration into the global IT market. Their programs, services and gadgets have already been appreciated by billions of people around the world. But the Ukrainian IT industry still has untapped potential. The catalogue will help to increase the presence of Ukrainian companies on the world market”, — Stanislav Shum, CEO of TopLead.
Promotion of IT
The Incredible Tech catalogue will continue to be actively presented among international partners, diplomatic institutions and associations and at large-scale international IT events in 2024.
“We believe that Incredible Tech will be a key driver for promoting the Ukrainian IT industry internationally. It’s not just a regular list of companies; it’s a truly effective tool for raising awareness about the potential of Ukrainian IT, attracting investments to the sector, and assisting existing IT businesses in scaling. The Ukrainian website builder Weblium has been actively contributing since the first day of its full-scale invasion to enhance the stability and resilience of our IT industry. We will continue to do so until the final victory,” — Daniella Shikhabutdinova, CEO of Weblium.
In particular, in 2023, companies from the catalogue received active promotion during the large-scale technology exhibition SEATIES in Japan, WebSummit in Portugal, as well as at events in the UK, Poland, Germany, Denmark and Ireland. In November 2023, the “GoIT” catalogue company-participant got a $15 million funding from Horizon Capital.
