Thunderstrike has officially unveiled its new Blade 60 gaming controller, now available for pre-order on JD.com. This cutting-edge controller boasts an impressive 8KHz polling rate and is set to retail for 399 yuan during its introductory offer, down from the standard price of 449 yuan.

Ergonomics and Customization

The Blade 60 features a dual-sided soft rubber grip with anti-slip textures, ensuring a comfortable and secure hold during intense gaming sessions. The directional pad utilizes an omnidirectional floating design, and users can easily swap between a disc and cross keycap to suit different game genres. For enhanced control, the controller includes six customizable mechanical light-touch buttons on the back and shoulders. These buttons can be mapped to shortcuts or macros using the PC-side driver software.

Performance and Responsiveness

A standout feature of the Blade 60 is its support for an 8KHz polling rate in both wired and 2.4G wireless modes, delivering a response latency of approximately 0.7ms. For Bluetooth connectivity, the polling rate is set at 125Hz. The triggers are engineered with a dual-mode system, combining micro-switches with Hall effect sensors for a “no dead zone” experience. Players can switch between different trigger travel distances with a single button press on the back, adapting the feel to various game requirements.

Advanced Joystick and Button Technology

The controller is equipped with adjustable force TMR joysticks, offering a high resolution of 12-bit and precision control up to 4096 levels. The sensors operate at a sampling rate of 20KHz and use a direct bus connection to minimize communication delays, providing a tactile feel akin to mechanical switches. The ABXY buttons incorporate optical micro-switch technology, triggered by infrared beams. These switches have a design lifespan of ten million clicks and, due to their non-physical contact structure, are less prone to double-clicking issues.

Immersive Feedback and Motion Control

For an enhanced gaming experience, the Blade 60 includes an H-bridge emergency stop grip motor and trigger motors. These are managed by an H-bridge vibration control chip for precise management of vibration start and stop. Furthermore, the controller integrates a six-axis somatosensory module, enabling motion control input for compatible games.

Product Specifications

The Thunderstrike Blade 60 controller comes with a comprehensive set of features designed for competitive gaming. It supports multi-mode connectivity including wired, 2.4G wireless, and Bluetooth. The high polling rate ensures minimal input lag, crucial for fast-paced titles. The customizable buttons and adjustable triggers offer a personalized control scheme, while the advanced joysticks and optical switches provide superior accuracy and durability.

The controller is currently available for pre-order on JD.com, with a special launch price of 399 yuan.
