Logitech has released a new wireless Bluetooth mouse, the M196, available in black, white and pink. The budget-friendly mouse costs just 79 yuan (approximately $11) and offers fast Bluetooth pairing.
The M196 eliminates the need for a receiver or computer port by connecting directly via Bluetooth. The M196 weighs only 61-79 grams and fits easily into a backpack or bag. For added comfort, the mouse has an ambidextrous design that is suitable for both right- and left-handed users.
The functionality remains simple but effective. The M196 offers controlled line-by-line scrolling and optical tracking for smooth and precise cursor control on a variety of surfaces. Thanks to the auto-sleep feature, Logitech mice boast a long battery life of up to 12 months on a single AA battery (pre-installed).
Even the design of the M196 reflects a commitment to sustainability. The mouse body is made of environmentally friendly plastic, with the black version containing 67% certified recycled materials and the white and pink versions containing 66% recycled materials.
