Almost 5 years ago, the Ministry of Digital Transformation launched the digitalization trend in Ukraine, and now digitalization permeates every sphere of Ukrainian life. Therefore, relying on the experience and infrastructure of the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Defense is launching its second digital product – a revolutionary application for the military called Army+.
Army+ will simplify the lives of our defenders, remove unnecessary bureaucracy, queues and piles of paperwork. In the first version of the application, 11 types of reports are available and Army ID is a unique ID number of a serviceman, thanks to which he can send reports for signature in a few minutes.
The launch of the app was announced by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a forum presentation.
The app also has polls that will allow the state to find out the opinion of the military on any issue, and defenders will be able to influence real changes in the Ukrainian Defense Forces with their voices.
In the future, it is planned to expand its functionality to include training courses, military documents (Army ID), social and other opportunities.
“Ukrainians consider digitalization to be one of the most successful reforms. But the most important thing we have received is the high level of trust of Ukrainians in the digital state, which began with the President’s idea in 2019,” the Ministry of Digital Transformation notes.
In the built digital ecosystem, digital products such as Diia, Mriya, Reserve+, and now Army+ are being developed right now. And other countries around the world are interested in the experience of digitalizing public services.
