On December 27, iQOO announces iQOO Neo 9 and Neo 9 Pro smartphones in the Chinese market. The two phones, which are positioned lower than the iQOO 12 and 12 Pro, are expected to feature top-notch specifications. Today, the brand released posters to reveal the display details of both smartphones:
Details of the iQOO Neo 9 series display revealed
iQOO has confirmed that the Neo 9 series will feature a 1.5K 144Hz 8T all-weather super-sensitive screen offering flagship-level LTPO technology to improve speed and power efficiency. iQOO also stated that the screen can withstand 100 hours of continuous touch, which is a challenge to achieve the lowest click latency in the industry.
In addition, the new phone introduces a new brightness control mode, chip-level intelligent eye protection 2.0, and has received dual SGS certification for low blue light and low flicker. The company will release an OTA update in January to enable these features.
Earlier, the brand confirmed that the Q1 esports chip it developed will also be used in Neo 9 models. The Q1 chip will help deliver an unparalleled gaming experience with high resolution, detail, and low latency. Although the company has not confirmed the exact screen size, both phones feature a 6.78-inch OLED panel with an in-screen fingerprint sensor.
For those who don’t know, the iQOO Neo 9 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, while the Pro model will be blessed with the Dimensity 9300 SoC. Both devices will be equipped with a 5,160 mAh battery with 120W fast charging support.
The Neo 9 could feature a 50MP + 8MP (ultra-wide-angle) dual camera setup, while the Neo 9 Pro will have a 50MP + 50MP (ultra-wide-angle) dual camera setup. Both phones are likely to have a 16-megapixel front-facing camera. The Neo 9 series will run on the latest Android 14 OS based on OriginOS 4.
