Do you have an innovative product or service that will help fight corruption? Mykhailo Fedorov, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Digital Transformation, calls on you to take part in the Open Datathon reUkraine, a competition of technology projects based on open data.

According to him, the total prize fund is UAH 4.4 million ($108,000). Four winners will receive UAH 1.1 million each ($27,000). The competition is open to technology companies, startups, businesses, and innovators with digital projects with open data.

Open Datathon reUkraine is a grant competition to support open data projects in Ukraine. The finalists will take part in a 100-day marathon to develop and implement digital solutions.

The competition aims to increase the use of open data to create new digital tools and support existing ones related to anti-corruption, social benefit, improving the efficiency and transparency of government, and overcoming the negative effects of the war.

“Apply by November 15 and help build a transparent and accountable country. After all, open data is the basis for the development of democracy and rapid post-war reconstruction,” said Fedorov.

The competition was organized jointly with USAID/UK Aid by the Transparency and Accountability in Public Administration and Services/TAPAS project. The project partner is the East Europe Foundation.
