Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7 may have a full-screen cover

Samsung’s next Galaxy Z Flip phone could feature a new all-screen outer cover, according to OnLeaks. New renders of the Z Flip 7 shared by OnLeaks and Android Headlines are based on leaks and show that Samsung’s upcoming device resembles its main competitor in the same form factor, the Motorola Razr Plus. The new screen goes from edge to edge on the cover and has cutouts for the cameras and flash.

OnLeaks has a history of accurate leaks, revealing designs for the Pixel 8 Pro, 9 Pro, Nintendo Switch 2, and other devices. These new renders come shortly after OnLeaks and Android Headlines shared another design of the Z Flip 7 that looked very similar to the current Z Flip 6, including a tab-shaped screen that didn’t touch the camera lenses. In a post on X, OnLeak’s Steve McFly says they “misinterpreted” the data, and the updated renders now show an edge-to-edge flip screen measuring about four inches — larger than the Motorola Razr Plus.

Another change to the Z Flip 7 is that the internal display has increased to 6.8 inches from 6.7 inches on the previous model, and it may have a less noticeable crease in the middle. Android Headlines reports that the new device is expected to come with 12GB of RAM and options of 256GB or 512GB of storage, and the price is expected to start at $1,099.
