Samsung is preparing to launch its Galaxy Xcover7 ruggedized smartphone. The smartphone has already made several headlines as it has appeared on sites such as Bluetooth SIG and Geekbench. Today, the MySmartPrice team spotted the device on the NBTC and FCC certification sites with the model number SM-G556B.
The NBTC certification list confirms the name of the device, while the FCC list gives an idea of the battery and charging capabilities of the Galaxy Xcover7. According to the FCC listing, the upcoming smartphone will be equipped with a 3950 mAh battery and support 25W charging. It also confirms the presence of 5G and NFC on the device.
Unfortunately, the listing doesn’t contain any other device specifications, but it does indicate that an official launch is imminent. Recently, Android Headlines published official renders of the Galaxy XCover7, confirming its identity as a ruggedized smartphone. An appearance in the Geekbench database showed that it will be powered by the Dimensity 6100+ SoC.
