Samsung has traditionally hosted two Galaxy Unpacked events each year. The first one takes place in January or February and is dedicated to the flagship Galaxy S series smartphones. The second event, which takes place in August, is dedicated to the foldable Galaxy Z smartphones, Galaxy Watch series, and the flagship Galaxy Tab S line. Now, a new report suggests the schedule of the South Korean brand’s next Unpacked event this year.
A hint for the next Galaxy Unpacked event
SamMobile announces that the next Galaxy Unpacked event will take place in early July 2024. Last year, the event took place in the last week of the same month. The publication notes that this year it may take place in the second week of July. The date of this year’s second event could potentially be July 1, as Samsung Galaxy Unpacked events usually take place on Wednesday.
If the report turns out to be true, this could be the second time Samsung will postpone the date of this year’s Unpacked event. In addition, the South Korean brand is also the main sponsor of the 2024 Olympics, which will start on July 26. The athletics multi-sport event will take place in Paris, France. So, there is a possibility that the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event could also be held there. The publication reports that the company may give away a Galaxy Ring and a Galaxy smartphone to all athletes participating in the event.
The next Galaxy Unpacked event is expected to feature the Galaxy Ring, sixth-generation Galaxy Z smartphones, Galaxy Watch Series 7, Galaxy Tab S10 lineup, and Galaxy Buds 3.
