Samsung is releasing two Fan Edition models of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 tablet, and both are more affordable than their standard counterparts. The Galaxy Tab S10 FE and Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ are powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1580 chipset, not MediaTek processors like the standard versions. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ has a 13.1-inch display, which is larger than the 12.4-inch screen of the Tab S10+, but smaller than the 14.6-inch screen of the Tab S10 Ultra. Please note that both models have a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz, which is lower than the standard versions, which have a refresh rate of 120 Hz.
This means that the standard Tab S10 models are still the best options if you use the tablet for gaming. But then again, the new fan versions are significantly cheaper than they are. Prices for the Galaxy Tab S10 FE start at $500, and it comes with 128GB and 256GB storage options. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab S10 FE+ will cost you at least $650 and comes with the same memory options. Prices for the standard Galaxy Tab S10 start at $999, while the Tab S10 Ultra will cost you at least $1,200.
Like the standard models, the Fan Edition versions are equipped with artificial intelligence features, including Google’s Circle to Search, which makes it easy to search for information by simply circling items on your device. The Samsung Note app also features Math Solver, which can perform calculations based on handwriting and text, and Handwriting Assist, which helps you organize handwritten notes. Both Fan Edition devices will be available in the US starting April 10. You’ll get a $50 credit if you pre-order your device now, and you can get the Book Cover Keyboard Slim for 50 percent off if you buy it before May 11.
