Samsung Galaxy Buds 3, 3 Pro are in development, may hit the market this year

Samsung is reportedly working on two new TWS headphones. These are Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro. They are expected to be the successors to Galaxy Buds 2 and 2 Pro, which debuted in 2021 and 2022, respectively. According to a previous report, the Galaxy Buds 3 duo is rumored to arrive later this year. Now, according to a new development, the upcoming TWS headphones of the South Korean brand have received model numbers.

Galaxyclub reports that Samsung is regularly working on the Galaxy Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro. They have model numbers SM-R630 and SM-R530, respectively. The publication reports that the South Korean brand is working on firmware for both models. In addition, the battery for the Galaxy Buds 3 Pro charging case was spotted on the certification site, but it did not reveal any specific details.

The report does not mention any other information about the Galaxy Buds 3 duo. Any additional details about the upcoming TWS headphones from the South Korean brand have not been leaked yet either. Samsung released Galaxy Buds FE in October last year. They remain the last TWS offering in the brand’s audio portfolio, which means that other models are already quite outdated. So, the next generation Buds 3 is long overdue.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds 3 and 3 Pro are expected to be unveiled at the Galaxy Unpacked event later this July or August. The event will also feature new foldable devices, smartwatches, and tablets. In other news, Samsung recently started rolling out new features for the Galaxy Buds 2 and Buds FE duo.
