The company has just announced the long-awaited Galaxy S24 lineup and even released the Galaxy Book 4 series in the region. So, here are all the details.
Galaxy Book 4 Pro
The South Korean tech giant has released three models, starting with the Galaxy Book 4 Pro. The new laptop is equipped with an Intel Core Ultra 5 or Ultra 7 processor, which is paired with Intel Arc graphics. It runs on Windows 11 Home and has a 14-inch or 16-inch AMOLED display (2880×1800 resolution) with touch control.
The Galaxy Book 4 Pro has a backlit keyboard, a 2-megapixel webcam, and four AKG speakers with Dolby Atmos support. Other features include WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, multiple connection ports, a 63Wh/76Wh battery with 65W USB-C charging, and a weight of 1.23 kg and 1.56 kg, respectively.
Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360
Samsung’s Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 is similar to the regular Book 4 Pro, but has a 360-degree hinge that allows it to be used as a tablet. This model has a 16-inch AMOLED display with touch control and weighs 1.66 kilograms. There is a 2-megapixel camera with two microphones on the front. The model is equipped with the same Intel Core Ultra 7 and Ultra 5 processors and Intel Arc graphics.
The Windows 11 laptop offers Dolby Atmos support on four AKG speakers, a backlit Pro keyboard, and S-Pen support. It offers various ports, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, a 76 Wh battery with 65Wh charging support. Samsung has released the Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 with 16GB or 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, which is paired with 512GB or 1TB storage.
Galaxy Book 4 Ultra
The Galaxy Book 4 Ultra is the top-of-the-line model of the brand’s latest laptop line. It features a 3K AMOLED display with a WQXGA (2880×1800) resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, DCI-P3 color gamut, and 400 nits of peak brightness. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core Ultra 9 or Ultra 7 processor, which is paired with an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 or RTX 4050 graphics processor. The chipset is paired with up to 64 GB of LPDRR5X RAM and up to 2 TB of SSD storage.
Samsung Galaxy Book 4 Ultra weighs about 1.86 kg and is 16.5 mm thick. The laptop is powered by a 76Wh battery that also supports 140W fast charging via USB-C. Connectivity options include 2 Thunderbolt 4 ports, USB Type-A, and HDMI 2.1, which supports 8K at 60 frames per second and 5K at 120 frames per second.
Price and availability
Samsung has launched the Galaxy Book 4 Pro and Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 in two color variants, namely, Moonstone Gray and Platinum Silver. On the other hand, the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra is only available in Moonstone Gray color. The Galaxy Book 4 Pro is listed at a starting price of 2,150,000 won (approximately $1,605 USD).
Similarly, the Galaxy Book 4 Pro 360 is priced at KRW 2,650,000 (approximately USD 1,978) and the Galaxy Book 4 Ultra is priced at KRW 3,730,000 (approximately USD 2,785). Between January 16, 2024 and January 31, 2024, buyers can take advantage of various benefits, as well as offers that reduce the price to 1,890,000 won, 2,350,000 won, and 3,100,000 won, respectively.
