In February 2010, operators’ revenues from mobile cellular communications services fell by 10.1%, compared to January, from UAH 2,292.663 million to UAH 2,060.186 million.
The State Statistics Committee announced this in a statement, a copy of which Ukrainian News has obtained.
Revenues from mobile cellular communications services accounted for 57.9% of all revenues from communications services.
In January-February 2010, operators’ revenues from mobile cellular communications services made up UAH 4,352.849 million.
As Ukrainian News reported earlier, in January operators’ revenues from mobile cellular communications services fell by 4.6% compared to December, from UAH 2,403.412 million to UAH 2,292.663 million.
In 2009, operators’ revenues from mobile cellular communications services amounted to UAH 28,456.377 million.
Mobile communications services are provided by five operators in Ukraine, namely Ukrainian Mobile Communications (in the GSM 900/1800 standards), Kyivstar GSM (GSM 900/1800), Golden Telecom GSM (GSM-1800), Ukrainian Radio Systems (GSM-900/1800), and Astelit (GSM 900/1800).
