Operators’ revenues from international communication services shrank by 53% from UAH 304.144 million in December to UAH 143.043 million compared to November, the State Statistics Committee reported.
In particular, revenues from international communication services fell by 25.8% to UAH 116.802 million. Revenues from international computer communication services went down by 9.6% to UAH 5.638 million. Revenues from international postal services grew by 1.5% to UAH 34.851 million. Revenues from courier operations decreased by 2.9% to UAH 7.411 million.
At the same time, the operator’s losses from international communication services made up UAH 37.308 million because the statutory reporting for 2009 includes discounts envisioned by agreements between mobile operators and roaming-partners.
In 2009, revenues from international communication services made up UAH 3,089.381 million.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, in November operators’ revenues from international communication services grew by 15.2% from UAH 263.911 million to UAH 304.144 million, compared to October.
In 2008, operators’ revenues from international communication services totaled UAH 2,621.352 million.
