The front panel design of the Galaxy S25 Ultra appeared on the Internet earlier this month thanks to a leaked render that only showed relatively more rounded corners and a narrower bezel. In the latest news, Ice Universe has shared a more detailed rendering of the phone, which also shows the side profile.
As you can see in the image, the upcoming device is expected to have completely flat sides. While the company has made minor changes to the mid-range bezel over the past few years, this leaked render suggests a significant design change. If true, the upcoming Galaxy flagship could look more like the latest Meizu devices with flat sides and slightly rounded corners than the Galaxy S24 Ultra.
Nevertheless, it’s important to remember that the rendering was obtained from an unofficial source, and the company still has time to make changes. That being said, readers should take the updated design with a grain of salt.
What we already know about the S25 Ultra
In the previous leak, it was mentioned that the phone will be slightly narrower, but will have a wider panel due to the narrower bezels. In particular, the width of the S25 Ultra will be the same as the iPhone 16 Pro Max. The S25 Ultra’s display will also be slightly larger than its predecessor.
The phone will hit the market sometime in Q1 2025 and will be powered by a Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chip. It may use a 200-megapixel ISOCELL HP2 camera as the main sensor, a 50-megapixel (improved from 10-megapixel) 3x telephoto camera, and a 50-megapixel 5x periscope telephoto camera. It is also reported that the phone uses a new version of the 1/2.76-inch JN1 sensor for the ultra-wide-angle camera with a resolution of 50 megapixels.
It is also reported that one of the telephoto lenses will be equipped with a 1/3-inch ISOCELL sensor, which improves the clarity and stability of images with an extended focal length. This could be a 50-megapixel 5x periscope telephoto lens.
