Recently, Xiaomi announced a new Redmi Turbo series, with the first smartphone being the Redmi Turbo 3. Although the company did not share much official information, a Geekbench listing revealed details about its processor.
Now, renders and real images of the smartphone have surfaced online, revealing its design. The images show the unique back design of the Redmi Turbo 3 – unlike anything we’ve seen on previous Redmi phones.
The camera module essentially covers the top of the smartphone, but the actual placement of the camera sensors is interesting. There are two camera lenses that are vertically located on the left. One of them is said to be the main 200-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).
In addition, there is a small notch in the center, which is probably the macro sensor. Next to it is a ring-shaped LED indicator and the Redmi logo.
While the real-life image may be a bit blurry, we’ve included a number of renders to give you a clearer idea of the design. The back panel also has a two-tone design and curved edges, probably for a better grip when holding the smartphone.
Earlier, Geekbench revealed that the Redmi Turbo 3 will be powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor with up to 16GB of RAM. A Redmi Turbo device, potentially the Turbo 3, was also spotted at 3C certification last month, hinting at 90W charging support.
The phone is expected to feature a 5500 mAh battery. Other rumored specs for the Turbo 3 include a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a HyperOS operating system based on Android 14.
The Redmi Turbo 3 is expected to hit the market later this month, and Xiaomi will likely start teasing its arrival and confirm the launch date soon.
