Redmi Turbo 3 appeared in the benchmark for the first time

Recently, Xiaomi confirmed the release of Redmi Turbo 3 in China, marking the debut of the new Redmi Turbo series of smartphones. On the eve of the official launch, the Geekbench benchmarking platform has revealed the alleged specifications of Redmi Turbo 3.

Redmi Turbo 3 appeared in the Geekbench database (version 6.2.2) under the model number 24069RA21C. It scored 1981 points in single-core testing and 5526 points in multi-core tests.

The basic SoC architecture in the listing shows that the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, as well as an impressive 16 GB of RAM. The phone will ship with the latest Android 14 operating system.

Xiaomi is positioning Redmi Turbo 3 as a mid-range offering in the “new performance series” lineup. Previously, the Turbo series smartphones were part of the Redmi Note line, the last device of which was the Note 12 Turbo.

However, the company is now restructuring its lineup, and Turbo-branded phones will form a separate series. The Note series, on the other hand, will continue to focus on mid-range phones aimed at popularizing flagship features to a wider audience.

The alleged Redmi Turbo phone, likely the Turbo 3, was spotted at the 3C certification last month, where support for 90W charging speeds was demonstrated.

As for other specifications, preliminary rumors suggest that the next Redmi Turbo smartphone may be equipped with a 5000 mAh battery and an OLED display with a resolution of 1.5 thousand dots.

Although Xiaomi hasn’t officially confirmed it, the Redmi Turbo 3 is expected to debut in China at the end of this month. There is speculation that the device may appear on the global market as a rebranded Poco F6.
