After the recent debut of the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3-powered flagship killer Redmi Turbo 3 in China, the Xiaomi sub-brand is now working on a new performance-focused device called the Redmi K70 Ultra. Unlike the Redmi Turbo 3, this new device is rumored to be powered by a flagship MediaTek processor.
Now, Weibo user 体验more has revealed some key details about the device. According to the information, the Redmi K70 Ultra will be powered by the Dimensity 9300+ chipset, an updated version of the Dimensity 9300 that debuted back in November 2023. This new chip is expected to make its debut on the upcoming Vivo X100s and X100s Pro models, which are rumored to be launched in China in May.
The report also says that the device will feature a 50-megapixel primary camera, as well as other sensors such as an ultra-wide-angle and macro camera. As for the display, it will reportedly have a 1.5K-pixel OLED screen with a special graphics chip that should provide good visual quality and gaming. The phone is also expected to have 120W fast charging, a metal frame with a glass back, and options for up to 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It will also have a 5500 mAh battery.
While the K70 Ultra will be available in China, the Xiaomi 14T Pro will be targeted at global markets and may have some additional features that the K70 Ultra does not.
