Realme silently launches Buds Air 6 and Air 6 Pro headphones

Today, Realme quietly put the GT Neo 6 up for booking in China without making any official announcements. Similarly, the company also revealed the full specifications of its latest headphones, the Realme Buds Air 6 and Air 6 Pro, on its website.

Both models have a similar design and offer a comparable set of features. Let’s dive into the specifics in this article

Realme Buds Air 6

The Buds Air 6 are equipped with a 12.4 mm dynamic driver, which, according to Realme, delivers “shocking bass, clear and vibrant mids and highs.” The headphones also feature an “independent bionic rear cavity design” for enhanced midrange and bass reproduction.

TWS are Hi-Res certified as well as LHDC 5.0 for high quality audio playback. You also get Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), which can filter out noise up to 50 dB.

In addition, the headphones offer ultra-wideband noise cancellation at 4000 Hz and “scene-based adaptive noise cancellation” that automatically adjusts noise cancellation based on the environment.

They are equipped with six built-in microphones with AI noise cancellation for clearer conversations.

The battery provides up to 40 hours of playback with the charging case, while the earbuds themselves can run for up to 6 hours on a single charge in ANC mode. The case supports fast charging, delivering 7 hours of playback time from a 10-minute charge.

Don’t forget that Buds Air 6 also has a 55ms low latency mode for gaming and is available in Serenity Green, Titanium Sky Orange, and Purple colors.

Realme Buds Air 6 Pro

The improved Buds Air 6 Pro model has a coaxial two-piece design with an 11mm woofer and a 6mm microplane tweeter. The Pro model also boasts Hi-Res certification, but replaces the LHDC codec used in the base model with LDAC.

Other features of the Buds Air 6 Pro are almost the same as the Air 6. Both offer 50dB of frequency response, 4000Hz ultra-wideband noise cancellation, and scene-based adaptive noise cancellation. They also have the same six-microphone setup, AI noise cancellation for calls, and a 55ms low-latency mode.

The Pro model, however, has a slightly higher battery rating of 7.5 hours on a single charge for the headphones in ANC mode. The charging case provides a similar 40 hours of playback and can quickly charge the headphones for 7 hours of playback in just 10 minutes.

Exclusive to the Pro model is a feature called “3D Spatial Sound Effects” that enhances the listening experience by creating a more immersive audio environment. Realme Buds Air 6 Pro are available in Galaxy Titanium and Glacier Silver colors.
