Realme GT Neo6 SE will be launched next week with the new Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3

Xu Qi, vice president and president of global marketing for Realme, announced on April 1 on Weibo that the Realme GT Neo6 SE will be launched next week.

The GT Neo6 SE has already been officially announced to be powered by the recently released Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chipset, which will likely also be used in the OnePlus Nord 4 [OnePlus Ace 3V in China]. This chipset uses 1 2.8GHz Cortex-X4 performance core, 4 2.6GHz Cortex-A720 mid-range cores, and 3 1.9GHz Cortex-A520 efficiency cores. Adreno 732 is responsible for graphics.

According to NanoReview, the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 chip scores about 1367000 points in AnTuTu 10, as well as 1913 and 5098 in single-core and multi-core Geekbench 6 tests, respectively.

By the way, the phone will be equipped with BOE’s new 1.5K 8T LTPO panel, which can reach 1000 nits of manual peak brightness, 1600 nits of global peak brightness (activated in high ambient light) and a whopping 6000 nits of local peak brightness in certain conditions, such as streaming HDR content in well-lit environments. Another use case for the staggering 6000 nits of peak brightness is the so-called “gaming super HDR”, which offers amazing visuals in games with extended dynamic range.

This bright AMOLED panel does not jeopardize eye safety. GT Neo6 SE is expected to feature 2160 Hz high-frequency PWM dimming and a hardware solution to reduce blue light emission.

As for the front and back design of the GT Neo6 SE, it has already been presented by the TENNA certification platform. Moving away from the current standard of side design, this phone looks like it will have curved edges on both the front and back. From the previously leaked image, we can see that Realme may have ditched the 2-megapixel macro camera of its GT Neo5 SE predecessor, and will offer a dual camera setup on the back. We will update as soon as more information becomes available.
