The screenshot above shows a Digital Chat Station tipster discussing Realme phones intended for the Chinese market. According to the leaker, the company’s upcoming numbered series of smartphones will include cameras such as the Sony IMX709 and OmniVision OV64B. Specifically, he seems to be referring to the Realme 12 Pro and 12 Pro+, which are expected to feature a 32-megapixel telephoto camera (2x optical zoom) and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (3x optical zoom), respectively. Both phones are expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset.

Earlier, a leak claimed that the upcoming Realme GT Neo 6 will be equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. According to DCS, it will debut early next year, probably after the Chinese New Year in the second half of February 2024. It looks like the GT Neo 6 could be the most affordable phone among the recently announced Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 phones in China.

For those who don’t know, the upcoming iQOO Neo 9 and OnePlus Ace 3 are expected to be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The same chip powers the Honor 90 GT and Redmi K70, which start at 2,499 yuan (~$350) and 2,599 yuan (~$364) respectively. There is a possibility that the device could cost around 2,000 yuan (~$280).
