Following the recent launch of the Realme 13 Pro series in India, Realme has confirmed the arrival of its non-Pro Realme 13 sibling in Indonesia. The phone is scheduled to launch on August 7, and its presentation will be held live on Realme Indonesia’s social media channels, including YouTube.
The Realme 13 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 chipset, which is a 4G processor. However, it looks like there is a 5G variant of the phone as it recently received certification from TENAA.
The SoC is paired with 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage, and there is also support for virtual RAM expansion, allowing users to add an additional 8GB for a total of 16GB. Thermal management will be carried out using a cooling system with a steam chamber. In terms of software, the Realme 13 will run Realme UI 5 based on Android 14.
Unlike the Realme 13 Pro series, which has undergone a design refresh, the base model looks to retain the design language of its predecessor. This means flat edges, a round camera module on the back, decorated with a central strip that runs the entire length of the phone.
The front has a selfie camera notch on the AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The teaser page also confirms that the device supports 67W fast charging.
Although details are still scarce, it seems that Realme may be partnering with the mobile game Honor of Kings, potentially offering exclusive content or optimizations for the game.
In addition, the event will also feature the presentation of Realme Buds T01 headphones for the Indonesian market. These headphones are IPX4 splash-proof, offer up to 28 hours of playback time, connect via Bluetooth 5.4, and support Google Fast Pair.
The headphones will be available in white and black colors, with the black version featuring a yellow accent on the charging case. Both the Realme 13 and Buds T01 will go on sale in Indonesia on August 9.
