Realme teases the key features of the Realme 12 Pro series smartphones ahead of their global debut on January 29. The Pro and Pro+ versions have also received numerous certifications. Both phones are supposed to replace last year’s Realme 11 Pro series. Now, the global variant of the Realme 12 Pro+ has appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing its hardware details.
Realme 12 Pro+ in the Geekbench database
In the Geekbench database, the Realme 12 Pro+ has the model number RMX3840. It is listed with a motherboard codenamed Parrot. The chipset consists of four cores with a clock speed of 1.96 GHz and four cores with a clock speed of 2.40 GHz. This hints at the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 processor running in the smartphone. The benchmark database also shows 12 GB of RAM on board. More RAM and storage configurations will be available at the launch. In terms of software, the upcoming offering will be loaded with Android 14 out of the box.
The Realme 12 Pro+ scored 1,025 and 2,915 points in the single-core and multi-core Geekbench tests.
According to the teasers, the Realme 12 Pro+ will have a 64-megapixel OV64B periscope camera with 3x optical, 6x lossless, and 120x digital zoom. It will also have super OIS. It has been confirmed that the upcoming offering, along with the professional model, will feature a round camera module with a blue leather textured back.
The TUV certification of the Realme 12 Pro+ has revealed that it will be equipped with a 5,000 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. According to a hands-on leak, the device will feature a curved display.
