Ground-based robotic systems are meant to replace soldiers on the battlefield. The Brave1 cluster is constantly looking for developers who strengthen our defenders with their innovations. Ukrainian robots are already performing combat missions instead of humans, saving lives.
Recently, a Ratel S ground robot blew up a bridge in the village of Ivanivske in the Donetsk sector, significantly complicating enemy logistics.
Ratel S specifications
- Maximum speed – 24 km/h.
- Range of use – 6 km.
- Payload – up to 35 kg.
- Operating time without recharging – up to 2 hours.
- Length – 83 cm.
- Communication range – 3000 meters (line of sight).
Use at the front
Overall, the robot has been successfully performing combat missions at the front for more than a year. It carries 2 anti-tank mines weighing up to 35 kg for a distance of 6 km. Ratel S effectively destroys enemy armored vehicles and fortifications remotely, while the operator controls it from a relatively safe location. The robot also has a reconnaissance module.
The developers are constantly in touch with the military: several companies use 2-3 Ratel S robots on the front line every day. The defenders give feedback on their effectiveness, so the equipment is systematically improved. In particular, the developers plan to increase the communication range to 10 km.
If you have an idea or a ready-made defense tech development that will strengthen our military at the front, register it on the Brave1 platform. Perhaps it is your development that will save the lives of our defenders.
