Ahead of Samsung’s next Unpacked event, which will take place on July 10 in Paris, a leak has revealed pricing details for the upcoming Galaxy Watch 7 family, including the new Galaxy Watch Ultra.
The Galaxy Watch Ultra will reportedly be available in a single size (47 mm) with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and 4G support. This top-of-the-line model is expected to have a titanium body and will be available in three color options: Titanium Gray, Titanium Silver, and Titanium White. The leaked information indicates that the price of the Ultra model will be 699 euros.
In contrast, Galaxy Watch 7 will be available in two sizes: 40 mm and 44 mm. Both sizes are expected to have an aluminum case and will be available in two configurations – Bluetooth and Wi-Fi only or Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE. Pricing for the Galaxy Watch 7 starts at €319 for the 40mm version with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi and goes up to €349 for the 44mm version with the same connectivity. The addition of 4G LTE raises the price to 369 euros for the 40mm version and 399 euros for the 44mm version.
While both sizes of the Galaxy Watch 7 have the same chipset, RAM, and storage capacity (2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage), there are some key differences. The 40mm model has a 1.3-inch display and a 300mAh battery, while the 44mm variant boasts a larger 1.5-inch display and a 425mAh battery. Both watches are expected to be water resistant to 50 meters (5 ATM).
Galaxy Watch Ultra features a larger size, a stronger titanium body and a significant increase in water resistance to 100 meters (10 ATM). It also has a larger 590 mAh battery.
All of the models that have been announced are expected to have some common features, including IP68 dust protection, MIL-STD-810H ruggedness certification, Bluetooth 5.3, dual-band Wi-Fi, NFC support, and dual-frequency GPS.
It’s important to remember that this is a leak, and official prices may vary slightly. Since the Unpacked event is scheduled for July 10, we won’t have to wait long for official confirmation of prices and availability of upcoming Samsung devices.
