The Poco X6 Pro 5G smartphone may appear on the global market in January 2024. Although Poco has not yet made an official announcement, a report by xiaomiui.net suggests that the company may launch the Poco X6 Pro 5G smartphone in the last week of January.
The phone has appeared on Xiaomi’s internal test servers running HyperOS, indicating that a launch may be imminent.
The rumors are further strengthened by the fact that Poco X6 Pro has also appeared on certification sites such as FCC, NBTC, IMEI, and BIS.
Speaking about the FCC, he revealed some interesting details. The X6 Pro will be available with three memory variants and surprisingly, the materials of construction are different between them. Both the 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB versions will have plastic bezels, while the other 12GB+512GB variant will have a fancy polyurethane bezel.
Rumor has it that the X6 Pro is essentially a rebranding of the Redmi K70E. If this is true, we can expect a gorgeous 6.67-inch 1.5K OLED display with a peak brightness of 1800 nits and a smooth 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, there will be a Dimensity 8300 Ultra SoC paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.
As for the camera, Poco X6 Pro may have a triple lens on the back. The main sensor will be a 64-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS) for sharp, stable images. It will be joined by an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and a 2-megapixel macro camera. For selfies and video calls, there’s a 16-megapixel front-facing camera.
The 5,500 mAh battery with 90W fast charging also keeps you busy.
Although the global launch date of the Poco X6 Pro remains unconfirmed, the January schedule and the growing number of leaks suggest that we will be able to get our hands on this phone soon. Stay tuned for the latest updates as we’ll keep you posted on any new developments.
