Oppo Reno 12 Pro leak reveals potential specifications

Oppo Reno 12 Pro leak reveals potential specifications

Not so long ago, Oppo introduced the Reno 11 series smartphone worldwide. However, rumors about the Reno 12 series have already begun to appear online. In addition, Digital Chat Station has revealed the technical specifications of the upcoming smartphone, although it did not specify its name.

The leaked specs are in line with previous leaks about the Oppo Reno 12 Pro, which leads us to believe that this could be the same device.

According to the source, the smartphone will have a 6.7-inch display that will retain the curved screen design of the Reno 11, as well as the same 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

In addition, the device is expected to run on the Diemnsity 9200 chipset and have a 5,000 mAh battery with 80W charging support.

As for the cameras, the leak mentions a 50-megapixel front-facing camera and a triple camera on the back. The main camera is expected to be a 50-megapixel shooter, as well as a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom.

While this leak is almost entirely consistent with previous information, there are slight discrepancies, particularly in the charging specifications. Previous leaks hinted at 67W charging for the Reno 12 Pro, while this report says 80W. However, since this is early information about the device, we should treat it with caution.

In addition, a previous leak suggests that the vanilla Oppo Reno 12 will be powered by a MediaTek MTK 24M processor, although the exact name of the processor remains unknown. It is expected to offer 12GB of RAM and storage options up to 256GB, as well as the same display specs as the Reno 12 Pro.

As for the launch, Reno 12 smartphones are expected to debut in June 2024. We will keep you updated with any new information about the device as soon as it becomes available.
